[PEPPo] Ce+BAF meeting, Wed. @ 11am in TL-2236 and Zoom

At the LERF we anticipate needing a 250-350 keV polarized beam for injection into the QCM.   Applying and maintaining this voltage reliably to the photogun electrode is challenging, with no arcs or damage to the high voltage cables, and for polarized GaAs requires there be no field emission from the electrodes.

Carlos is traveling to Japan next week to talk about our experience using inverted high voltage insulators, and will have discussions to develop new insulators for these higher voltages.

At today's meeting Carlos will give a dry run talk, and a really good opportunity to learn more about this critical aspect of the photogun.
