Due to JLAAC and a short week tomorrow's Ce+BAF meeting is cancelled - we'll resume next week.
In the meantime, please consider the "ask" I sent to all of you last week. I'm available to discuss, please reach out if you're having a tough time getting started.

Subject: Instruction for your 3-year R&D feedback
Dear Ce+BAF colleagues,
We're being asked by lab management to estimate the resources (i.e. budget) we would request in order to support positron beams Research & Development. As explained at yesterday's working meeting, the goal of this exercise is to write down the objectives, scope and resources to perform R&D over the next 3-years (likely this exercise is updated annually).
A list of possible R&D topics is listed further below, find your favorite(s) and/or add to them!
What am I asking?
During the next ~couple weeks, find some quiet time for yourself or with colleagues, to discuss how you imagine your R&D topic(s). In some cases detailed proposals/plans are already developed, and ~all of you are already aligned to specific R&D topics. To help collect your input please use the attached Word template and Excel templates. Please send me your two docs (for yourself or working teams) before our January 24th meeting (we won't meet next week due to JLAAC).
In the meantime, I will focus with some of you capture the scope to restore the LERF 10 MeV injector region, for future needed R&D beam studies.
