Apologies for the weekend e-mail, but a reminder that tomorrow is the deadline to inform Balsa if you'd like to mentor an ODU/REU student this summer, details below.

It's a good opportunity if you have an engaging appropriate topic, but also a responsibility. Those already with students and tight project schedules, please keep this in mind.

best,
Joe

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Your availability to mentor students through REU 2025

Dear All,

We will have an in-person ODU/JLab REU: Accelerator and Nuclear Physics
(https://www.jlab.org/accelerator/reu) summer program again this year.

The program will be 10 weeks long, starting on May 27 and ending on August 1.

I wanted to reach out to you and see if you are interested in mentoring a students this summer. I’d like to hear from you by this Monday morning, March 3. The selection committee meets that morning.

Please email me back if you are interested. I know that you are all busy, so a one-line (or one-word) email will suffice!

Also, if you know of anyone else who would be interested, and is not on the list, feel free to forward this email to them.

Best,

Balša
