Pulled the beam pipe out and everything seems to be fine. Just try not to disturb the RTV too much while curing when you're working around the HyCal.

Yes, it's pretty tight but slides ok. The only problem is that there is no support for the pipe inside the detector beyond the collimator so it is not possible to direct the beam pipe through without going off axis and possibly damaging the Tedlar joints. I'll look into it when I go to hall in a few minutes.

Thank you, Steve!
I've been to the hall, it looks good.
Since this is tight fit on the pipe we have to be careful when inserting the pipe into the tube.
Guys, before we do anything els on the HyCal we need to check for the light leaks.

Thank you. I've installed the Tedlar tube through HyCal but had to keep the beam pipe inside the tube while the RTV cures. It shouldn't prevent you from installing the GEM detector frame. I'll check it and remove the beam pipe later this morning.

Hi Eugene,
All power supplies are turned off.
It is safe to access HyCal.
Best,
Chao

Hi Eugene,
I am taking some data right now, and I will turn the HV off tonight.
Best Regards,
Chao

Tomorrow HyCal should be down and we can start working on it. The first thing to do would be to open beam holes upstream and downstream and install Tedlar tube through the HyCal.
If anyone is taking data with HyCal today make sure to finish it and turn all HV off before tomorrow morning. The chiller also should be turned off.
