Dear participant,
Thank you for your participation in our Quantum Computing Bootcamp at Jefferson Lab. We are thrilled to have you join us!
We are excited to announce that the comprehensive two-week program schedule is now accessible on indico. To view it, please visit https://indico.jlab.org/event/715/. In addition, we have set up a dedicated Slack workspace for the bootcamp. You can join the workspace using this link<https://join.slack.com/t/qcbcjlab/shared_invite/zt-1wmmsq0r4-H5OF0nEt3WEVS~By7V9pHw>. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any inquiries or require assistance. We are here to help!
In order to ensure a smooth process, we kindly request that you proceed to the registration desk located in the CEBAF building lobby to check-in on Tuesday, June 20. Sue Ewing will welcome you between 8:30-9:30 am. So please make sure to arrive on time to avoid any delays. If you haven't registered yet on indico, please take a moment to do so.
As mentioned previously, we are pleased to offer lodging and a per diem of $50. You will be accommodated at the Marriott in the city center, which is conveniently located at the following address https://goo.gl/maps/hRUoJvi4J2wnzepz6 and rooms have been booked under your name. From the hotel, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to the CEBAF Center at JLab (please refer to the venue link at indico). While there are buses available in the city, we recommend walking as it provides a quicker commute. Alternatively, you can consider sharing an Uber or Lyft, which typically costs around $10 per ride. We encourage you to coordinate with other participants to share rides to reduce expenses.
If you have any disabilities or you are not able to walk / use ride share apps for other reasons, please let us know, and we will make appropriate arrangements to accommodate your needs.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Lab and having an exciting time at the bootcamp!
Best regards,
Nobuo, Felix, Raghav
