[Rec_bike] The informal Fall Bike Commute Challenge Results

Over on the accelerator side of the fence, three of us  (Mat Wright, 
Darrell Spraggins, and myself)  had a contest to see who could commute 
to work the most from the end of August up to the Winter Break.   While 
we are not quite at the Winter Break,  the final results have been 
tallied.    Darrell and Mat  tied with 78 commuting days out of 82 total 
days.  One of the more interesting fact is that on only one occasion did 
one of us  drive a car to work.  The bulk of the missed days were 
Vacation, Travel or Sick.

Anyway, I thought I'd share this with the bike email list.   Perhaps we 
should hold a Spring Commute Challenge and open it up to the whole 
lab?   Get JAG to throw in some nice prizes?   How about May bike to 
work month?
