Colleagues,
Omar has agreed to assist me with RECO this start-up. The majority of
his focus will be on I&C systems but he will also be addressing some
other EES areas as needed.
At Steve's maintenance meeting on Monday we agreed to the following HCO
schedule:
_*August 7th*_
Begin getting into the HCO frame of mind. Be thinking about what you
need to do to meet the schedule.
_*August 10th - 14th*_
Perform HCO w/o beam on accelerator systems. Report status of HCO to
Lauze/Garza. This can be done via phone or e-mail but the preferred
method is to make a log entry with /HCO Complete/ somewhere in the
title. Due to the cryomodule installation at 1L04, the North Linac will
be in Restricted Access during the Day shift. This will require some DC
Power and RF HCO to be conducted on Swing or Owl Shift. Please plan
accordingly. _*See Steve's calendar, and attend RECO meetings, for
up-to-date details on tunnel lock-up status.*
_
_*August 11th - 18th (excluding the 15th and 16th)*_
RECO meetings start. Meetings will be held in the MCC conference room
from 1530-1600.
_*August 14th -16th*_
Starting on Swing Shift Friday (if we are ready) Operations will perform
HCO with beam by restoring 5 pass 5.9 GeV from an allsave made at the
end of the last run. Operations will be instructed to call for support
for show stoppers only, all other problems will be documented and
addressed on Monday August 17th.
Once 5.9 GeV is established they will scale down to the run energy of
5.764GeV.
_*August 17th - 18th*_
Monday Day Shift is tentatively reserved to make repairs of the items
identified during the weekend restoration. During these two days we need
to perform HCO w/o beam of all Hall systems.
_*August 19th*_
/ALL systems must be ready for beam to all three Halls
/Thanks, Ron/
