[Regtermcasual] Message from Hugh Montgomery: Update on FY11 Salary Adjustment

Dear Colleague,

Earlier this year the Department of Energy announced a two year salary 
freeze for its contractors while still allowing for some promotions.We 
were able to fully utilize the available promotion funds. Recently, the 
restrictions were modified to allow a salary adjustment in FY11.We are 
in the process of implementing a salary adjustment program that will be 
retroactive to March 1, 2011.The adjustments averaged over the Lab total 
1.5% but will vary individually based on eligibility, current salary 
levels, and market comparisons.

Human Resources will be distributing letters to all employees by mid-June.
