Dear all,

Now that we decided on weekly meetings, our next RGC meeting is TOMORROW, Tuesday May 3, at 8:30 a.m. EDT.
The agenda can be found at
https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/RGC-May_3#Today.27s_Agenda_-_Meeting_begins_at_8:30_EDT_.28GMT-4.29
Please upload any presentations / reports / slides / photos you might have and link them to the appropriate agenda items!

Note that we will spend some time discussing triggers and other aspects of running conditions (torus field…). If you are a (co-)spokesperson on one or more of the approved RG-C experiments, I strongly urge you to come prepared to discuss some of the following issues:
- Does your experiment REQUIRE a certain fraction of running with outbending electrons? Does running with outbending electrons cause any ISSUES for your experiment? Note that presently my draft run plan foresees that roughly 1/4 of the data will be taken with the outbending torus configuration - come prepared with any strong arguments you may have for MORE or LESS running in that mode.
- Does your experiment care about positrons? Either as background or as signal? What is the minimal positron energy that you MUST have? What about the minimal electron energy? This is relevant for the roads we will simulate for the level-2 trigger - by default, we would NOT include any charged particles below 1.5 GeV momentum in the trigger. Should that threshold be even higher? What about the EC threshold?

You may want to refer to the preliminary Run Plan<https://userweb.jlab.org/~kuhn/RGC/RunPlan.pdf> posted on the meeting pages. Nota bene: In the absence of compelling arguments for changes, this will become our default run plan.

- Sebastian
