Hovhannes - Adjusted the way helicity information is being registered
for the Analyzer (see notes
http://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Sane_analyzer).
Essentially, this involved interchanging how positive and negative
helicity information was being registered (HCLog entry 174402). This
seems to improve the raw/total asymmetries.
Oscar- Looked at run 72614 using the 2 clocks during the running. Clock
174 was used at some point when 503 was failing. This resulted in
differing charge asymmetries, which shouldn't happen. Mark will look in
to this.
Narbe- Working on obtaining packing fractions and dilution factors for
perpendicular data. Working on particular sub-set (5.9GeV, HMS momentum
3.1GeV/c, 15.4degrees). Looking at Carbon run 72505, found offset
between data and MC for xptar. Something like this was seen by Anusha
for the coincidence study as well. Will look into how xptar is being
done in the MC. Hovhaness suggested looking at runs known to be good
(72600 and later) and see if this is (re)occurring.
Will work with Steve Wood next week to set up database for EPICS info
for target for target analysis.
Hoyoung- Looked at HMS yield for perpendicular runs
(http://www.jlab.org/~hykang/HMS_asym/yield_72446_72486_HMS.png). Will
need to synchronize his Analyzer with the current version to ensure that
the dead-time is being calculated correctly.
Working on making MYSQL database to be better structured. Oscar
suggested moving it to Twist to avoid permissions issues with Computing
Center on site here.
James- Made table of TEs taken during running
(http://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/TE_List).
Hovhaness suggested adding corresponding run ranges.
Uploaded pictures of target cups/material taken after pulling out
inserts along with plots of polarization
(http://hallcweb.jlab.org/experiments/sane/wiki/index.php/Material_Pictures).
Added Yale Gain Card info into event files to help with calculating TEs
off-line.
Will begin calibrating Lucite for perpendicular runs.
Jon- Will begin calibrating Tracker for perpendicular runs.
Luwani- Set up his Analyzer. Oscar suggested he look at earliest runs
(4.7GeV perpendicular) to retrieve beam information (position).
