[Sane-analysis] Differing gen_run_.txt files and syncfilter executables

Greetings,

There was some discussion about discrepancies in the report files output
by the replay at the last analysis meeting. The discrepancy in the
helicity info section of the report was caused by a change in the
gscalers.param file. The cvs has the syncfilter gated on BCM1, and I had
replayed some files with the syncfilter gated on BCM2--which was
responsible for the discrepancy.

Also.

In trying to track down the source of the discrepancy, we noticed that
there is a significant difference in the size of syncfilter executables in
different replay directories throughout octavian-- and possibly elsewhere.
See octavian:/mnt/raid/exp/users/rondon/sane/Linux/bin Syncfilter
executables range from 40k to 21k. Executing "make" alone doesn't seem
enough to bring a directory's syncfilter executable inline with the cvs.
We recommend that everyone using the analyzer execute a "make clean",
"make" sequence to match your syncfilter to the CVS. (Mind you, we're not
sure what this difference is caused by or how it affects the replay, but
syncfilter.c hasn't been changed on the cvs in 5 years so...)

Thanks for your attention,

--Jonathan
