Dear All,
I will present preliminary asymmetries of SANE-HMS data at DIS 2013
meeting, this April.
I would appreciate you if you send comments about my abstract. The
following is the abstract:
Double spin asymmetry measurement from SANE-HMS data at Jefferson Lab
The Spin Asymmetries of the Nucleon Experiment (SANE, E07-003) is the
measurement of spin asymmetries of the proton, using polarized electron
beam of Thomas Jefferson National Laboratory and polarized ammonia target.
It can produce, with rotation of superconducting magnet at target,
parallel and near-perpendicular double spin asymmetries. These asymmetries
lead us into spin structure functions $g_1$ and $g_2$. Two detector sets,
Big Electron Telescope Array (BETA) and High Momentum Spectrometer (HMS),
detected scattered electrons. Although BETA covers larger kinematic
region, HMS, with rotation and dipole setting, collected interesting data
at four-momentum transfer $Q^2$ of $0.8$, $1.3$, and $1.9 GeV^2$, from the
resonance region to the region of invariant mass $W = 2.3 GeV$. In this
talk, the current progress of the analysis and preliminary spin
asymmetries from HMS data will be presented.
Best regards,
Hoyoung
