Dear Brian (cc'd SBS collaborators),
I hate to have to postpone our update on simulations again since we've
already postponed it twice, but I would very much prefer to give an
update next week or the following week (as the schedule permits),
because I know that we will have much more significant progress to
report than we have today. Before my son was born, I was very close to
completing a number of major code developments/improvements that will
enable a deeper analysis of the MC results and aid the development of
reconstruction software. I only came back to work full time as of
Monday, and as of yesterday I finished coding the aforementioned major
changes and started testing and debugging the updated program. By next
week (or the following week), I expect to have tangible results
demonstrating the major new developments in the MC, whereas today I can
only present the status of several works in progress that are near
completion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Andrew
