Hello all,
Here is an update on the status of Hall A.
Shift leader shifts for today (Thursday) swing and tomorrow (Friday) owl are cancelled. TO shifts continue to be required as the target is cold. As soon as Jack is done with magnet testing activity in the Hall this evening, we will power on all the detectors and take cosmics overnight.
Day shift leader tomorrow is on standby.
Jessie’s team has some remaining work (est.~2 hours) tying up loose ends tomorrow morning before completion of the pre-beam checklist and hall lockup (pending approval of the run certificate). Our plan is to accomplish the BigBite GEM swap opportunistically on day shift tomorrow, in anticipation of the potential approval of the run certificate and the beginning of beam restoration tomorrow afternoon/evening.
Best regards,
Andrew
