Dear SBS Collaboration,

Note that the abstract submission deadline for DNP 2025 has been extended by one week.

Please consider submitting an abstract and attending the meeting. We expect Chicago to be a great venue, and have worked hard to make it as affordable as possible. More details are in the May 2025 DNP Newsletter<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__higherlogicdownload.s3.amazonaws.com_APS_9487474c-2D539c-2D4417-2D81e5-2D51aeb25847a8_UploadedImages_NewsLett-5F224v2.pdf&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=IebRyMSEbnsVTrj8mJhCLQ&m=HvnNXc6jgHFWJ_IgEG3nYTc8sKT6w3Btdvy_AIIMfm9Rv9hlFyi6RqQq_XbKdvto&s=aawKHqHgdH4z6-wLwyGcOjOrjEa1xx1BY173xHSKtiI&e= >.

Best wishes,
Jim

Fall 2025 Meeting of the APS Division of Nuclear Physics

October 17-20 | Chicago, IL
Submit an Abstract<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__info.aps.org_e_640833_Z-2D91923O37_2tk5d5_1574380114_h_xH1jOruNRS6eHd38A2EfhwavggWaMQvcVM4GWNi9kHc&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=IebRyMSEbnsVTrj8mJhCLQ&m=HvnNXc6jgHFWJ_IgEG3nYTc8sKT6w3Btdvy_AIIMfm9Rv9hlFyi6RqQq_XbKdvto&s=mLV3bZ4oucUY26BX5Lipi6Hhp1c1ArqKZw0VIy-X0IQ&e= >
Abstract submission has been extended until July 15 for the APS DNP meeting in Chicago. The fall APS DNP Meeting brings together more than 800 members of the nuclear science community for plenary sessions, workshops, invited and parallel sessions. There are many opportunities for networking with peers and colleagues from across the community, as well as with exhibitors and sponsors.

Please submit abstracts through the submission site. The deadline for abstract submission is July 15.

The meeting will be held Oct. 17-20, 2025 at the Hilton Chicago, a historic hotel with views of Lake Michigan. The meeting will begin with workshops proposed by the community in the morning of Oct. 17 and will end with more workshops the afternoon of Oct. 20. The plenary session, in keeping with the International Year of Quantum, will focus on Quantum Information and Nuclear Physics.

More details about the meeting, including detailed summaries of the minisymposia, invited sessions, and workshops, can be found on the meeting website, which will be updated as more information is available.

DNP members are encouraged to submit abstracts to one of the sorting categories below. The general sorting categories, [1]-[14], as well as the minisymposia, category [18], are available for contributed abstract submission. The minisymposia summaries can be found here. If a member feels their research fits in one of these categories, be sure to submit it to that category.

Categories [15] and [16] are for undergraduates only. Posters, category [15] may only be submitted by undergraduates applying to the CEU program. Category [16] is for undergraduate oral presentations.

The deadline for all abstracts but the undergraduate categories, [15] and [16] is midnight ET, Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The undergraduate deadline is later, in early August 2025. Registration will open in July, look for another email announcing the opening of registration.

The abstract categories are listed in full below, including the minisymposia categories, available for abstract submission. The workshops, proposed by the community and held both before the main meeting begins and after the contributed sessions end, are described here.

The general categories have been updated to consolidate some categories and clarify others. They are also now in alphabetical order. Please note that we have added a new category for 2025, Computational Nuclear Physics.
