HI Sean

Thanks for sending out the plan.

I would like to add one more thing:

here at UVa we have built the new HV divider boards with the resistance 3 times smaller than those on the UV chambers right now. These HV boards will significantly reduced the gain drop issue, and the efficiency for the UV chambers will stay close to 90% during production. One question is whether pedestal noise would go up.

Vimukthi and Huong are starting to test these boards. They plan to get them fully tested  using high intensity x-rays by January 5, or earlier.

If everything looks good by then, I suggest we replace the HV board of UV layer 4 before it is installed.

We can replace the boards of the other 3 layers, while they are in the stack.

Hi All,

Here is the list of tasks needed to install the UV layer in the hall. Barring any unforeseen issues the layer swap should happen on January 6th. I have also attached a picture below where you can see the state of the UV layer. It has everything ready except for the APVs, which will be taken out of the hall on January 3rd.

Move UV to the test lab and set up HDMI cables
1/4/2022        Pedestal and comsic test on UV layer
1/5/2022        Resolve any issues

1/8/2022        Weekend
1/9/2022        Weekend
1/10/2022       Resolve any issues
