[Sbs_gems] SBS GEM updates this week

Dear all,

In lieu of a meeting tomorrow (so NO meeting tomorrow 21-Dec), some updates for the GEMs in the Hall are here:
-SBS and BB GEMs have gas flow reduced for standby
-BB GEMs on N2 starting this afternoon
-Jack is still monitoring the gas mixing system for the SBS GEMs since we see a variation as much as about 1%, hoping to reduce this

If anyone would like site access during the holiday shutdown, please let myself or Sadie Cherry know so that you can be on the site access list.

Plans for the first week of January:
-increase gas flow back to nominal
-replace APV in BB
-take cosmic data

If anything else, please let me know or respond to this e-mail.
