We have successfully completed all of the following tasks:
1) Place the proper 3-slot backplanes in all UV GEMs
2) Remove J0 from the hall and install the UV layer in its place
3) Test all connections and perform a pedestal analysis
We had some trouble with the spacers that delayed us an extra day, but the UV GEM is now in place. See the attached pictures of the INFN and UV GEMs on the crane. Also see the attached PDF of the pedestal results. All APV pedestals look good here, and in the raw event data viewer. We have all layers flowing Ar/CO2 at production rate and plan to take cosmic data later tonight and over the weekend.
We have also replaced one APV during this time connected to fiber 22, adc 7 which was crashing the DAQ in the last two weeks of the experiment. Also we found that the fiber 1 MPD was not found by the crate, so we had to replace it. This crate has not been touched for the entire break, the MPD was fine before then, and is not near the edge of the bunker for radiation damage so we do not know why this happened.
