[Sbs_gems] [New Logentry] Access for SBS INFN GEM first layer

Evaristo, Holly, and I went into the Hall this afternoon during the maintenance day to investigate the first layer of the SBS stack, INFN layer J1. We were looking at the bottom( M14) and middle (M13) modules. We used a resistor multimeter to investigate the resistance of the GEM foils. For the bottom module we found that there is a short on the drift foil. For the bottom module the current draw after the short was -912 uAmp, which is consistent with a short near the drift foil. For the middle module we found a short on the middle GEM foil and the bottom GEM foil. We will not run these modules on HV for the remainder of the experimental run. For the middle module the current draw was -922 uAmp, which is consistent with a short between foils 2 and 3. We will investigate further the LV for both layers. If possible we will try to run the top module on Layer J1, which is currently unaffected. In the future this layer will need to be removed and either repaired or replaced.
