When we go to take straight through data, here is the approximate plan:

1) Target: single C foil ("thin")
2) Trigger: ECAL-HCAL coincidence
3) SBS magnet: OFF
4) Beam current: start at 1 uA

Contact Andrew Puckett to prepare replay database for SBS tracking with zero-field.

5) Start running beam at 1 uA. Check trigger rates and livetime. Take a short run and analyze--quick look at GEM rates/occupancies and/or tracking results. Increase beam current and/or adjust trigger threshold(s) as needed to generate a sufficient rate of events with good tracks in FT and FPP with good livetime. Important thing is to get a good mix of triggers with good tracks in SBS. Andrew will recommend a running condition.

Take a long run (1-2 h) at the recommended beam current and threshold(s).

The following runs are "nice to have" but optional and to be taken only if things are going very well:
6) Switch to LH2 target
7) If any changes to trigger thresholds were made on single C foil, back them out.
8) Start beam at 1 uA. Check trigger rates/livetime. Take a short run and analyze. Check GEM occupancy. If GEM rates/occupancies are acceptable and livetime is high, you can increase beam current to perhaps 2-3 uA. Take another ~1-2 hours of data in this configuration.
