Dear Evaristo,
I am still confused about your approach to the background.
Why 2000 photons? What does it means "flat"? Why it is flat?
Amount of background is very important.
We are not developing the code for some analysis.
We need to demonstrate that at specific background
conditions the data will be analyzable.
Please present and defend your approach for background
simulation.
