[Sbs_software] SBS software working group meeting today, 1 PM

We will hold our regular SBS simulation and software working group today at the regular time of 1 PM US Eastern.

Agenda:

Announcements:


  *   analyzer and SBS-offline installations updated on aonlX machines and ifarm
  *   “standard” analyzer/SBS-offline installation on ifarm updated to JLab software version 2.5
     *   ROOT 6.24.06
     *   GEANT4 10.7.p02

Discussion items:


  1.  All: brief verbal updates: subsystem software status AND commissioning plans
  2.  Eric: status of replay_gmn.C/scalers/etc
  3.  Update on expected trigger rates for SBS1 kinematics; field-on and zero-field runs
  4.  Andrew/Holly: Status of scripts for optics calibrations and analysis of zero-field runs
  5.  Andrew and all: proposed modifications of variable definitions for SBSGenericDetector and its derived classes for more efficient disk usage by output root files. Discussion of implications for calibration scripts/etc.
  6.  Paul/Andrew/all: status of panguin, coming improvements to configuration of root file searching/loading
