Hello all,
We will hold our regular SBS simulation, software, and analysis working group meeting tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 29. Please note that we will delay the start to 1:30 PM tomorrow instead of the usual 1 PM, due to a one-off meeting that I have this week.
Agenda:
* Planning discussion for first-pass mass production of SBS-1 and SBS-4 data.
* Good runs list with target, beam current, SBS and BB field settings, etc?
* Minimal ROOT-tree output desired by each subsystem
* What calibration parameters to put into the DB for each subsystem before starting first-pass cooking?
* What histogram outputs desired for first-pass cooking?
* Subsystem updates (brief verbal reports and/or slides/plots you want to show):
* Status of EPICs and scaler event handlers: D. Flay/E. Fuchey
* Status of BPM and raster info in SBS-offline and in the ROOT tree: D. Flay
* Status of trig. Adc and tdc info and rf time in the ROOT tree: Mark Jones
* Status of timing hodoscope calibrations/track matching/efficiency analysis: David H or Rachel or other
* Status of BBCAL analysis and calibrations and fringe field effects: Provakar
* Status of HCAL analysis and calibrations: Sebastian
* Status of optics:
* Simulation optics: Andrew
* Analysis status of SBS-1 and SBS-4 optics data: Holly
* Status of GEM analysis code: Andrew
* Implementation of better strip timing calculation/cuts
* Look at decoding speed.
* Improvements in GEM panguin plots for shift crews.
* Status of analyzer: Ole
We will meet on BlueJeans as usual:
