Hi All,
See the weekly update from John Galambos. I think cold mass testing was meant to be checking prior to proceeding to SF/TS assembly.
Cheers,
Ed

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Weekly update
This week the PPU project office reacted to input from last week’s director’s review, planned for the September OPA review and conducted a project controls metrics meeting for the July data. At our partner JLab, the first cryomodule cold mass assembly is ready for testing, the second cryomodule cavity string assembly had a cavity replacement, and a cavity is ready for the initial high power test cavity is in the horizontal test apparatus at SNS. In the RF area, the new LLRF system is running in witness mode on the operational machine, and is being readied for the first tests controlling beam during upcoming beam study periods. In the target area the new mercury pump overflow tank has been received and underwent mockup tests in the high bay area and the test target 1 water shroud issues are resolved.
Have a great weekend and stay cool! - jg
