Hi,
I think we might need amplified base so one can run at lower gain to
prevent premature aging of the PMT.
After we could use their kind of VFE and FE, or send everything into FADCs.
The signal might need to be shaped a bit since it seems to be about 50 ns
we might need to integrate it a bit, though cable length might make it
wider already. If we have everything in FADC I think we can do the gain
correction pretty quickly and include it in L1.
If we reuse the LHCb front end, I think we can put the discrimated signals
in L1. If the digital trigger is slow we might need to have in L3 though we
have 4 us to make the L1 so it might be ok.
When is you meeting by the way ?
Alexandre
