[Solid_ec] Meeting minutes for the R11102 and MAPMT base designs

Dear All:

I have summarized last week's meetings with the detector group here:

The table is supposed to provide the divider specifications in an "understandable" language for our detector-group experts, and an easy "at-a-glance" reference.  Rows with the yellow background should serve this purpose. Please let me know if you'd like to see anything else added to the table, or if some rows should be re-worded. 

You may notice that I placed the 16-ch MAPMT as the top choice for both SPD and the Preshower. We arrived at the conclusion that the Preshower should use the 16-ch MAPMT at the meeting. The decision for SPD was made after the meeting (and after further discussion with Jianping).  Using the 16-ch MAPMT for both Preshower and SPD will facilitate the divider design, yet still meet the physics requirement for both.

The tube selection for Shower (R11102) has been decided.

The tube selection for SPD/Preshower (16-ch R11265) is tentative. We might expect many used 16-ch tubes from the Minerva experiment. We still need to find out exactly which tube they are using, and may target our divider design to their particular tube.
