Hi Alexandre:
Please see these files for updated quotes. 1mA and 3mA are the same price. These are double-width SHV connectors.

Can you tell me how long the cables should be? Also which website did you look up on the price for cables and connectors (and model# for both SHV and BNC cable/connectors)? This way I can sum up the cost of all parts and assume JLab can do all cables in house.
Thanks,
Xiaochao

Subject: [Solid_ec] HV price
I looked up prices a bit :
a spool of RG59U is about 540 $ for 500 feet
SHV cables are expensive around 20 $ in large quantities
so just one cable of 100 ft with 2 SHV connectors one is about 150 $
I guess we can set up HV crates in both HRS to make cable not to long it seems it is more expensive than signal cables.
I guess you might want to make SHV patch pannels for your detectors so it is easy to cable/uncable the detectors.
>From Xiaochao quotes :
Mainframes are around 11.5 K$ with up to 16 boards ( less than 600 W ) and board with 24 channels 6.6 K$, so about 350 $ per channel.
If you could make sure you include HV cables and connectors and a patch pannel if needed in your budget estimate.
I budgeted the signal cables but you should foresee the cost of any patch panels.
I assumed signal were going out on BNC.
Alexandre
