[Solid_ec] should we have a meeting tomorrow?

I saw Chendi and others didn't wear gloves when operating fibers. I hope
that these fibers are just for demo and practicing purposes (they are
basically unusable for real purpose). Maybe you are all aware of that
but here I would like to share some experience about dealing with fibers:

In general, fibers are very fragile and needed to be treated with great
care. The outer cladding is so easy to be damaged even when you touch it
with you hand. You cannot bend or twist the fibers beyond it can be.
Some fibers are not allowed to be exposed to the strong lights for a
long time. Most importantly, no matter at what constancy, plastic
gloves much be worn. The environment has to be clean to avoid dust on
fibers (in particularly in Beijing!). Use dedicated lubricant and
dust-free papers to clean fibers. Before installing the fibers, check
whether the fiber is good by facing it to the light and check the
surface of the fiber. Any cracks will lose the light yield.

Best Regards
