Hi all,

In this monthly GEM meeting, I will share my test results about APV25 on my FEE board for GEM detector. The title of my report is "Test of APV25 on FEE board for GEM detector". I hope to discuss the test results and my present work as well as my future work with you.
This is my first time to appear in this meeting, please allow me to have a breif introduction to myself. I am 李诚, Cheng Li, a student who works on the design of GEM detector electronics. I am directed by Professor Shubin Liu in FELab of modern physics department of USTC. I am interested in the design of electronics for particle detection, and I am glade to talk with you on this meeting. Your advice and suggestions are appreciated.

Best regards
Cheng Li.

Subject: [Solid_gem] monthly GEM meeting on Nov. 27
Hi all,

Our November GEM monthly meeting will take place next Wednesday, Nov. 27. There is a particular matter we may want to talk about before the meeting this time. That is the meeting time. As we know, the US is back to the normal time. Thus the time difference between Jlab and China is now 13 hours instead of 12 hours previously. This means our monthly meeting would start at 7:30am at Jlab if we were to stick to the starting time of 8:30pm in China. I believe it's very unlikely that 7:30am would be an acceptable time for people at JLab. So I would propose that we move our monthly meeting back half an hour, namely, we start the meeting at 8am at JLab or 9pm in China. Even though 8am may be still a bit too early for people at JLab, I am afraid we can't push the meeting back any more. It would otherwise be too late for people in China. Please speak up if the proposed new meeting time won't work for you or if you have any other ideas or suggestions on the meeting time during "winter!
  time".

Last but not least (or even more important), please let me know if there is anything you want to show at the meeting. The skeleton agenda is at

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Thanks,
Jianbei
