Dear all,

On Monday next week, we will have our first remote Cake Seminar, where
Miguel will be presenting to us what he has been working on lately. Below
are the details.

In order to keep alive the spirit of these seminars despite the lack of
on-site coffee and cake, we invite you all to join us for a *remote coffee
break* 20 min before the start of the seminar, at *12:40 PM*. We hope to
see you there!

*Cake seminar*
Monday September 28, 1:00 PM

*Miguel Albaladejo* (JLab) will talk about "Recent advances with
Khuri-Treiman equations".

*Abstract:*
For a 1-to-3 decay or 2-to-2 scattering process, the Khuri–Treiman
formalism models the partial-wave expansion of the amplitude as a sum of
three individual truncated series, capturing the low-energy dynamics of the
direct (s-) and cross (t- and u-) channels. It has been successfully
applied to different processes, for instance, the eta -> 3pi decays.

In this seminar, we discuss past and ongoing work in the subject of KT
equations. In particular, we will cover the following points: (1) the
generalization of the KT formalism to coupled channels, and its application
to the eta -> 3pi decays; (2) the use of KT formalism to study pi-pi
scattering, and its comparison with other dispersive approaches; (3) a
revisited approach to the omega->3pi decay, in view of recent new
measurements by BESIII collaboration; and (4) the generalization of the
formalism to arbitrary spin of the decaying particle.
