Title: Recent advances with Khuri-Treiman equations
Abstract:
For a 1-to-3 decay or 2-to-2 scattering process, the Khuri–Treiman formalism models the partial-wave expansion of the amplitude as a sum of three individual truncated series, capturing the low-energy dynamics of the direct (s-) and cross (t- and u-) channels. It has been successfully applied to different processes, for instance, the eta -> 3pi decays.
In this seminar, we discuss past and ongoing work in the subject of KT equations. In particular, we will cover the following points: (1) the generalization of the KT formalism to coupled channels, and its application to the eta -> 3pi decays; (2) the use of KT formalism to study pi-pi scattering, and its comparison with other dispersive approaches; (3) a revisited approach to the omega->3pi decay, in view of recent new measurements by BESIII collaboration; and (4) the generalization of the formalism to arbitrary spin of the decaying particle.

In an attempt to revive the lively spirit of our on-site cake seminars, we welcome everyone to join for a remote coffee break 20 minutes before the seminar starts, at 12:40 PM.
See you all there!
Best regards,
Astrid, Christos, Filippo
