Greetings everyone,
It's a bit of short notice, but this Wednesday, April 30 at 1pm EDT, I will give a cake seminar in CC F224-225, and online on Zoom via:
https://jlab-org.zoomgov.com/j/1603350140?pwd=oGOK6Eq7IMrA3i19aI3eNqRjCmrpe7.1
We can only seat 24 people in F224-225, so seats will be provided first-come first-served, so arrive early if you want to attend in person.
This cake seminar will be a bit unusual. Rather than talking about my own research, I will use the seminar to summarize a recent workshop on the mechanical properties of hadrons, held in Trento, Italy. The workshop website is here:

The title and abstract for my talk are below.
Title:
Mechanical properties of hadrons: ECT* workshop summary
Abstract:
I will give an overview of the workshop "Mechanical properties of hadrons: Structure, dynamics, visualization", which was held on on March 31 - April 4 at the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*). This workshop discussed the energy-momentum tensor and its associated form factors for hadron targets, with sessions on "dynamics" (how to calculate the form factors), "processes" (how to measure them), and "interpretation" (what the form factors mean). I'll give a bird's eye overview of the workshop as a whole, focusing on a few talks and controversies I found especially interesting.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the talk!
Kind regards,
Adam (also on behalf of Gloria, Zheng-Yang and Joe)
