Dear Puneet,
Under 'Other Triggers' you list
* For lepton ID:
EC x CC (for functioning sectors 1 and 4?)
CC (for functioning sectors 1 and 4?)
I suggest the following (all prescaled):
a) EC .AND. CC (both sector 1)
b) EC .AND. CC (both sector 4)
c) EC (higher threshold) any sector
Note that the 'minimum ionizing' threshold for EC for the main trigger
should probably be about 200 MeV or lower. Our forward angle minimum
energy protons will be in the Q2 = 0.5 GeV^2 bin and will therefore have
an average kinetic energy of omega = Q2 / 2 = 0.25 GeV. Since the width
of the distribution is probably about 20% (and the bin width is finite),
we should set the threshold at 0.2 GeV.
Note that the calorimeter is about 140 g/cm^2 so that minimum ionizing
particles will deposit 0.28 GeV.
