Hi All,
Another good day overall in the installation process.
*The steel shield wall is in place after Calvin had to cut a chunk out
of one corner so it would fit.
*The target has been surveyed into place.
*The sparse fiber monitor is in place but still needs some alignment.
I'll take care of that tomorrow. The cabling can be done tomorrow, too.
*The last of the chicane magnets have been installed.
*The mounting brackets for the beam profiler (dense fiber monitor) are
done and we will do a test fit tomorrow down in the hall.
*I understand our JLab colleagues have begun getting the DCs back up.
The other detectors will be run through their paces in the next few days.

We are expecting the surveyors to be aligning the chicane magnets, the
photon collimators, and the lepton beam blocker starting at 8:00
tomorrow. This assumes that some minor retrofits of the beam blocker
will be done. They should be done by noon so that means that we will be
able to start doing the chicane shielding in the afternoon. So all you
with Pb training should be ready to pitch in.

We will again meet in the cafeteria at 9:00 to plan the day.

Brian
