Hi All,
I started to introduce a few modifications to the decoder from Evan, in order to facilitate the analysis.
-now just execute the program as ./x792 [number of the file] [number of events]
the number of the file is just the number, without the grinchadc or the dat. The number of events is optative, default=1000
-the rootfile output is {number of the file]_ADC.root
is automatically.
-right now, it just writes the histograms of the ADC data, not the raw data in a NTuple. This is easy to do, but later. For immediate purposes it is enough.
-Since we will work with the second ADC input (there is a broken channel in the first input), only data (histograms) from 16->31 is (are) stored.
-I put the comment //C.A. so you can see the modifications and added, in case you look for errors.
-About errors. It compiles perfectly. It runs the same but it crashes at the end, with core dump. BUT it produces a perfect root file. It just disturbing that it happens.
See you tomorrow (Tuesday)
-Carlos
