[All_jlab_accounts] JLab Computer Systems Maintenance Period Set for May 21, 5-7 p.m.

The CNI group has planned a systems maintenance window for tomorrow evening, 5-7pm. During this window, several web servers will be rebooted for a configuration update. Email will be down for a short period while several servers are rebooted for a configuration update. There will be an intermittent Internet outage while the external firewall is updated. Finally, CNI staff will release new Windows and Linux patches. Plan on rebooting your desktop on either Wednesday or Thursday to finalize the patch installation. If you have questions or concerns about any of these activities, contact the IT Division Helpdesk (helpdesk at jlab.org, x7155).
