[All_staff] Performance Appraisal Process Begins 9/27/10

  Colleagues,

The Lab's performance review cycle is October 1 - September 30 each 
year.  This year's performance appraisal process officially begins 
Monday, September 27, 2010.  From September 27-October 1, 2010, all 
supervisors need to activate their employees' performance appraisals.

*Supervisors are encouraged to take a moment to:*

    * Review performance expectations from the previous year as they are
      activating the appraisals
    * Coordinate any matrixed feedback for those employees who have been
      supporting other groups outside their home unit.

Once activated, employees can then complete their self assessments. _All 
self assessments should be completed by October 13, 2010_.

  In the event you are away and need to access your performance 
appraisal, you may do so by obtaining a Personal Identification Number 
(PIN) from Bruce Ullman (x. 7170), April Sessoms (x. 7663)  or Cassandra 
Andrews (x. 7068).
