Dear All,
 
A week ago, I asked Fulvia Pilat to lead our accelerator team working on the design and development of the Medium energy Electron Ion Collider. I am very pleased to tell you that she has agreed. It will be very important for us to firm up our ideas and to develop the cost estimate. The Nuclear Science Advisory Committee will be paying a lot of attention to our efforts in this area during the next twelve months.
