[All_staff] What you need to know for JLab MFA Roll Out

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1, and continuing over the next two weeks, the
use of MFA tokens for operating system logins will be rolled out by
division. As a reminder, MFA is being implemented for login to Jefferson
Lab systems as required by the Department of Energy.

 

You are responsible for obtaining, testing and verifying the usability of
your individual token before your division's required use deadline. If you
encounter any problems with token setup or initiation, visit the IT
Division's updated FAQ page for troubleshooting information:

To ensure a smooth transition to the MFA token technology for users, you
will receive a calendar notification for your division's required use
date.   

 

If you are still in need of assistance, contact the IT Division Helpdesk:

a.m.-4:30 p.m. 

 

If you have not picked up your token, you are required to do so before 4
p.m. today. Users who do not take action by the deadline may be denied
access to Jefferson Lab systems until the issue can be resolved.
