Dear all,

at today's BONuS meeting, we decided to fix the date for the BONuSFest2014 for FRIDAY, July 25, starting at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in L102, CEBAF Center. This Fest is in lieu of our usual BONuS meeting that would otherwise take place 2 days before, 7/23 (that meeting is hereby canceled). Our goal is twofold:

1) Review new developments in the analysis, publication and interpretation of BONuS6 results. In particular, I hope to have presentations by Eric and Narbe, Keith, Ioana and Gabriel, and Jixie on there respective projects involving BONuS data. Everyone else of course is welcome to present something, as well - please let me know ASAP if you would like to "reserve a spot".

2) Have an extended discussion on plans for detector options, R&D plans, and possible time and funding scenarios for the BONuS12 run, which could potentially occur as early as 2017 (3 years from now!) We already had some discussion on this topic today - those who missed it can look up the posted documents under today's agenda on the wiki. Again, if you would like to give a presentation on detector ideas or issues, please let me know right away.

I have reserved a room for enough time so we can have up to 6 talks plus general discussion. However, for planning purposes, I would prefer if you could once again fill out a doodle poll at

http://doodle.com/6e539mhma3igrf4v

to give me an idea who can attend during which time span. I am trying to keep this as simple (and cheap) as possible, so there will not be any "official registration" (fee) - but also no "official" refreshments. We can use the cafeteria for lunch and maybe I can organize some coffee and cookies later in the afternoon (no promises). The poll serves as "inofficial" registration. You're on your own with travel, accommodations etc… - sorry! (But of course Lorelei or other JLab staff can help)

Everyone is warmly invited (and strongly encouraged) to attend (and bring your friends and colleagues who you think might be interested!). If you cannot travel to Jefferson Lab, we will also utilize Bluejeans for remote participation (plan to set up your computer and web browser to take advantage of the full multi-media options; see today's agenda for information).

More information to follow shortly via email and on the wiki. For now, I am most eagerly awaiting your confirmation/announcements (and preferences) for your talks, and hope everyone can fill out the doodle poll. Best greetings

- Sebastian
