Hi All,

this is the status and report of the BONuS experiment (Run Group F), Friday 20th, 2020.

  * early in the morning the Accelertor Ops finished the calibration of the BPMs
  * finished small tasks in the hall
     * checking of gas leaks and set bubblers levels
     *   bubbler camera
     * RadCon Survey of RTPC 1 and instructions how to translate it to EEL 125
     * Final checks from Dan C., Yuri G. and Stepan S.
  * We were ready for Hall Sweep at 12:15 (one hour over my estimation). Started at 12:40, finished at 13:10.
  * During the sweep Eugene P. proceed to ramp up the magnets (4T solenoid, 20kG Torus)
  * Harp scans at tagger started at 14:50 due to issues with the injector.
  * Tagger degaussed ~14:50 and started to fine tuning beam at Faraday cup (2H01 and 2C24), finished ~17:30
     * BOM not working (Nathan B. notified)
     *   Beam position by Halo Counters (2C24): X: 0.1mm Y: -0.4mm
  * In the meanwhile target was filled with D2 (Sebastian) and RTPC always flowing with pre-mix gas.
     * no visible bubbles, but apparently everything in order
  *   17:35 ready for production. 240 nA, Target 65psig of D2.
  * MCC called for interruption of the beam ~17:50 for one hour, Eugene P. was called for an opportunistic access to the hall and check of the BOM
     * unsuccessful attempt. Eugene P. instructed to call Ben Raydo starting next week in any opportunistic access to the hall.
  * I was requested to have a short run (~30) with empty target, so we proceed to empty it (emptied ~19:00)
     * here starting the issues with the HV control, being unstable the voltage difference bias between the layers
  * I access the hall to connect the shunt to GEM3 Out HV
     * changed set values to the HV (voltages and current for different layers)
  * Empty target run finished ~21:00. Beam stopped to fill the target.
     * most of the time was trying to solve the HV isssues.
  * Mohammad took control remotely of the HV problem
     * mainly was a sudden ramping down of the cathode without apparent reason
     * the solution (I guess temporal), is to off-on in expert mode the channel ramping down to make it start ramping up to the set voltage.
     * it was set an alarm everytime the RTPC HV starts to ramp down so the shift taker can execute the solution inmediately.
  *   First production run (240nA @ D2) started at 10:50, finished at 11:55

The only apparent issues to solve:

  *   BOM (under control)
  *   RTPC HV (more critical)

I think that we are not bad in the schedule although the problems we got.
