Dear RG representatives
as you know I asked the link persons of the RGs that will be able to run
in CY23 and CY24 (CY22 is already booked by RGC) to provide one page
with information useful/necessary to define the Hall-B proposal in the
upcoming scheduling discussion.
Having in mind that we want to have all RGs that went trough an ERR to
collect a significant fraction of their data (>40-50%) and some RGs
already did, the list will be limited to:
- RG-K (only collected 12% of the assigned PAC days)
- RG-D
- RG-E
- RG-L
I’d like to have *a meeting next week* with Hall-B staff members (in CC)
to discuss with you the readiness of your RG
Please *prepare 1 slide* (just one!) with the following information:
*- Run conditions:*
— PAC rating of the experiment
— Beam energy, beam current, polarisation
— number of PAC days granted
— dedicated detector/target/component (NOT YET PRESENT IN CLAS12 AS PER
TODAY)
— any special requirement
-*SW status* (in case you have dedicated non-standard equipment)
— implementation in GEMC
— implementation in REC code
*- ERR status*
— any issues raised by the ERR still pending
— workplan to respond and clear the review
— status of any PAC requests (beside ERR)
In case you are not able to run immediately (either because some
components are not ready or you still need the full ERR approval)
*prepare +1 slide* (just one) with timeline/workplan/milestones to be
ready to run for the proposed date.
I strongly encourage RG representatives to discuss among you (in
particular RGD and RG-E) to see if different RGs could run in parallel.
Any possibility will simplify the scheduling process and increase the
chance to have your experiment firmly scheduled.
Please*fill the doodle by Friday Oct 8 at noon*. I’ll send the date by
Friday COB.
