[Clas_offline] CLASWEB migration status... Logbook troubleshooting status -- possible progress.

All,
I have made some small changes to the logbook installation on claswebnew
that seem to solve the problems that were reported. It's a little difficult
for me to be sure, however, since I don't know the application well, and I
am reluctant to actually try to make entries, etc. If you have a few
minutes, please check http://claswebnew.jlab.org/clasonline and try to
exercise the application a little. In particular, try searching for log
entries and run info in various ways, and making some test entries. Please
be aware that the claswebnew installation updates the SAME DB as the
production version, so you will make "real" changes from the test system.
Again, be watchful of your browser's address bar. the app will frequently
revert back to "clasweb" rather than "claswebnew". Editing the URL in the
address bar works to test clasweb in many cases.
Let me know if you still see problems. If so, I'll need the actual URL you
used that generated the error.
If you're confident that the app is working correctly, I may be able to
proceed with moving the system into production this morning. I will also
need to figure out how to make these changes permanent (I had to modify a
few config and .html files in the logbook app itself, so I'll need some info
on how to make these changes a part of your "permanent copy" of the source -
wherever that is J ).
