Vote for your favorite submission in the 2014 Jefferson Lab Annual T-Shirt Contest. There are 15 different designs to choose from this year. Voting will remain open until April 4. Monthly Tornado Siren Test Set for Friday
Jefferson Lab's tornado warning siren will undergo its monthly operational test at 10:30 a.m on Friday, April 4. Don't respond to the siren; this is a test of the siren system and not a personnel response exercise. If this were an actual Tornado Warning, this message would direct you to take cover immediately in a Severe Wind Take Cover area.

Time To Celebrate Records & Information Month
April is Records and Information Management (RIM) Month. Each week in April, look in the JLab Weekly Briefs for the RIM Fact of the Week, followed by the Trivia Question of the Week. Correct responses via email are entered into a drawing for a Starbucks gift card! (Limit one prize per person). For more information, contact Kim Kindrew, kindrew at jlab.org.

JLab Records and Information Management Fact of the Week
Technology has made electronic records very easy to create but very difficult to manage. Structured records are maintained via databases, such as Costpoint. Unstructured records, however, are found in directories on shared drives, local disks, and even on mobile devices. Jefferson Lab's Records Management will conduct a variety of focused inventory of electronic records during the coming months. Records schedules Jefferson Lab uses to apply retention and disposition to records are found here: https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-13816

RIM Trivia Question of the Week
Records management really does matter! Name the firm which voluntarily surrendered its licenses to practice as Certified Public Accountants in the United States after being found guilty of criminal charges relating to the firm's handling of the auditing of Enron. The Enron scandal was the result of this firm's shredding of documents related to its fraudulent audit activities of Enron. All responses must be received at kindrew at jlab.org by noon on Friday, when a drawing will take place of all correct answers. One person will win a Starbucks gift card! (Winner will be notified via email no later than 5 p.m. Friday following publication. Limit one gift card win per person.)

Red Cross Blood Drive Set for April 15
The next American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April. 15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in CEBAF Center, Room F113. New and repeat donors are encouraged to attend. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, contact Johnie Banks, x7539. Tracking Thomas at Jefferson Lab
Doug Higinbotham correctly guessed the location for March 26. Honorable mentions go to Baylee Thayer and Jodi Patient. For this week's new mystery photo, visit Tracking Thomas on Jefferson Lab's flickr site (and email Kandice Carter if you think you know where he is): https://www.flickr.com/photos/jeffersonlab/13589219995/

A better view of his last location is also available on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jeffersonlab/13589262473/
