Jefferson Lab Spotlight: Renee Carter
Scientific discoveries require more than just science. As a procurement administrator, Renee Carter is focused on securing the tools, materials and devices that Jefferson Lab researchers need to fulfill every aspect of their work. Read more here .
THEORETICAL AND COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS
Using the new data from the A2 collaboration, a new paper reports the results of a precise analysis of η′→ ηππ transition within U(3) chiral perturbation theory at one-loop order, including scalar resonance states as degrees of freedom. The corresponding amplitude has been unitarized using the so-called "N/D" method, including ππ and πη final-state interaction effects. The theoretical framework developed here is suitable for precision analyses of future experimental data.
