ACCELERATOR SCIENCE / EXPERIMENTAL NUCLEAR PHYSICS
The CEBAF Accelerator is being brought back online following work to replace a pair of transformers for the Central Helium Liquefier (CHL1). Installation of the second transformer was completed Saturday , and it was fully energized and tested. CHL1 has been brought back to full capacity, and pumpdown of the South Linac to 2 Kelvin has been completed. Accelerator Operations has returned to a 24/7 schedule and is working through the systems to bring CEBAF back online for beam delivery. The experimental halls will begin 24/7 staffing on Friday to enable the start of beam restoration to the halls. Once these restore activities are completed, it’s expected that CEBAF and the experimental halls will resume the spring program to deliver the remaining 18 days of scheduled beam.

THEORETICAL AND COMPUTATIONAL PHYSICS
The Khuri-Treiman formalism models the partial-wave expansion of a scattering amplitude as a sum of three individual truncated series, capturing the low-energy dynamics of the direct and cross channels. A new paper casts this formalism into dispersive equations to study π π scattering , and compares their expressions and numerical output to the Roy and GKPY equations. It proves that the Khuri-Treiman equations and Roy equations coincide when both are truncated to include only S- and P-waves.

ESH&Q
Red Cross Blood Drive Set for April 6
An American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place at Jefferson Lab on Friday, April 6 , 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in CEBAF Center room F113. New and repeat donors are encouraged to attend. Walk-ins are welcome. For eligibility and scheduling information, see the full memo .

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT & LOGISTICS
Changes Made To Central Materials Storage Area
The Central Materials Storage Area (CMSA) has been rearranged and reconfigured to help improve use, control and access to various areas. Changes include a limited-access fenced area to separate the fuel tanks and refuse/recycling containers from the storage areas; forklift storage location changes; and elimination of the CMSA training requirement for access via the automated gate. For more detailed information, see the full memo .

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Public Address System Test Set for Thursday
On March 22 at 5:30 p.m., members of the Jefferson Lab Emergency Management Team will conduct the recurring test of the lab’s Public Address (PA) System, the live audible announcement feature that is available through the Cisco phones. No actions are required or expected from members of the lab community with this test. Active calls are automatically put on “hold” and may be re-activated once the announcement has ended. For more information, see the full memo .

Reminder for Credit Card Holders: Changes to Log
The Credit Card Log Application software will be upgraded on March 27 , and new changes will be in effect for the March statement reconciliation process. The look and feel is being updated, and reconciliation steps will now directly link individual credit card log entries with associated bank statement entries. A mandatory training session for card holders will be held on Monday, March 26 , in the CEBAF Center Auditorium. Credit Card Log approving officials are not required to attend, but are welcome. For more information, see the full memo .
