[Cuga] *Reminder* Jefferson Lab Foreign Visits and Assignments- a message from Lorelei Carlson

Attention all Users,

I am sending again our current procedure and guidelines for visits to JLab:

  *   access request registrations https://misportal.jlab.org/jlabAccess/  must be submitted at least 7 days prior to arrival onsite in order to avoid delay in ability to be onsite while awaiting approvals
  *   all foreign nationals within the U.S. may request up to 1 year access (badge will remain on) if immigration ID Documents https://www.jlab.org/human_resources/jris/id  are valid for the entire access request 1 year period - a new registration would have to be submitted at least 7 days prior to the 1 year expiration date for renewals (several email reminders of expiration will be sent at least 2 weeks ahead)

*         all U.S. citizens (except Graduate students) are eligible to submit an access request registration https://misportal.jlab.org/jlabAccess/  for up to 2 years (badge will remain active) without renewal until the 2 year expiration as long as ID Documents https://www.jlab.org/human_resources/jris/id  are valid for that 2 year access timeline (several email reminders of expiration will be sent at least 2 weeks ahead). U.S. Grad students are approved for a 1 year period with the same guidelines.
