Position Title 	Assistant Professor of Physics (Theoretical Hadronic)
Position Summary 	

The Department of Physics at William & Mary invites applications for a 
tenure track Assistant Professor position in theoretical hadronic 
physics to begin August 10, 2019.
The initial appointment for this position will be jointly supported by 
the Theory Center at Jefferson Lab as a bridged staff scientist. 
Candidates must have experience in theoretical Nuclear and Hadronic 
Physics, including the fields of perturbative and non-perturbative QCD, 
hadron structure and spectroscopy, effective 
field theories and the 
application of lattice QCD to all aspects of strong interaction physics. 
The successful candidate is expected to initiate and maintain a strong 
research program, seek external funding, and demonstrate excellence in 
teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Required Qualifications 	

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at the time 
appointment begins, (August 10, 2019).
