We set ECal heater temperatures to achieve crystal temperatures around 200degC on the front and 170degC on the back. Around 11AM April 13 we cooled down by 30 degC and then another 50 degC at 10AM on April 14. We decided to do this because we were running at low current during commissioning and didn't expect crystal darkening. April 17 at 10PM we turned the heaters back to their original setpoints due to higher current running. April 16 we installed a remote control setup to turn the AC units on and off for periodic rest/defrosting and on April 17 we installed a fan in front of AC1 the beam side unit which cools the right side of the enclosure (looking downstream). Now we have a heater in front of AC2 that feeds the pumps, a heater and a fan in front of AC1 and nothing for AC3 which feeds the enclosure on detector left. All air conditioners are set to turn on and off by a cron job on aslow at adaqsc that periodically calls the scripts at /adaqfs/home/aslow/jonesdc/ECal_AC_power.

een the regular defrosting periods and the fans and heaters, the air conditioner system appears to be working well. There have been no incidents with ac units shutting themselves off in the past 22 hours since we installed the fan. The plots below show the performance. <br>
