[Dsg-hallb_magnets] Hall B Solenoid - Axial Load Cells

Hello Ruben, 

The following task were completed today: 

Scot / Pablo - connected all axial and radial load cells. 
Brian - completed the changes in the Sol-LV-cRIO program to replace axial load cell (AL-01) with the new one. 
Brian/Pablo - Verified readout for axial and radial load cells, values as we expected: 
The maximum variation with regards to the last measurements (compared with FUTEK measurements) was about 500 lbf. for the radial load cells. 
Max readout for axial load cells was about 120 lbf. 

All load cell connectors were disconnected right before 4 pm today to allow the welding work in the Solenoid. 
Axial load test will continue tomorrow morning.

Subject: Hall B Solenoid - Axial Load Cells 

Chaps, 

By Thursday morning 13th July, can you please complete the following: 

1. Fit all axial load cells to OVC and connectorize - Scot 

2. Complete all lookup tables for each load cell for readings in pounds instead of kN - Brian 

3. Update all master Excel sheets to display both pounds and kN and update all calculations and limits to work and display in pounds (Excel, PLC and EPICS) - Pablo / Wesley 

3. Connect cabling and check axial load cell readouts on EPICS - Scot / Pablo 

Please work with Joe Matalevich (Sub Team Lead for Welding) to allow you to do this when they are not welding. 

Please remember to re-fit the conductive (shorting) foam pads in the Magnet feedthrus after doing your work and disconnecting instrumentation cables.
